Our Impact
100 Men of Dane County is built on the idea that pooled resources create greater results. Every dollar contributed by our members goes straight to the quarterly grant recipient, ensuring our support funds real work in the community—not administrative costs.
Grant Recipient - Q4 2025
The 100 Men of Dane County granted $88,000 to JustDane (originally named Madison-area Urban Ministry)! JustDane offers an array of direct service programs for individuals and families involved in the criminal justice system. These services include prison reentry programs and services for children who have an incarcerated parent, community events designed to help people understand what it’s like to walk in the shoes of someone newly released from prison, and jail and prison in-reach programs.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $92,000 to Safe Harbor Child Advocacy! Safe Harbor reduces trauma and promotes healing for children and adults with intellectual disabilities who are victims of or witnesses to crime.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $96,000 to WayForward Resources! WayForward Resources provides access to nutritious food for people throughout Dane County and support that helps people stay in their homes in Middleton, Cross Plains, and parts of west Madison.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $94,000 to the Miracle League of Dane County! The Miracle League of Dane County is dedicated to removing the barriers to create a welcoming, accessible environment where every child can enjoy the game of baseball and build lasting memories.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $93,000 to Extended Hands Pantry! Extended Hands Pantry is a volunteer-driven, faith-based, non-profit organization with a two-fold purpose. To provide groceries and other household items to those in need, and to provide a light afterschool meal for children in low-income neighborhoods. ​Their food pantry puts an emphasis on providing culturally appropriate foods.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $94,000 to the Madison Parks Foundation! This organization works to make our 297+ parks accessible, inclusive, and full of life—for everyone, today and for generations to come.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $97,000 to CLIMB USA! CLIMB’s mission is to help teens and young adults improve their financial capability through education and capital market engagement.
Grant Recipient - Q2 2022
The 100 Men of Dane County granted $97,000 to the River Food Pantry! The River is South Central Wisconsin’s busiest food pantry. Services include free groceries for pickup or delivery, to-go meals, online grocery orders, mobile meals, and after-hours food lockers. The River also recovers food and resources—that would otherwise go to waste—from local retailers. Since 2006, The River has grown to serve over 4,000 people every week in pursuit of its vision: a fully nourished community.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $91,000 to Madison Reading Project! This organization connects our community with free books and literacy resources to ignite a love for reading that reflects and affirms the unique identities of young readers.
Grant Recipient - Q4 2021
The 100 Men of Dane County granted $91,500 to RISE Wisconsin! RISE Wisconsin is a leading agency in supporting children’s well-being, children and youth mental health, and family stability. RISE provides this through three pillars of support to the Dane County community: through early childhood education and development and early literacy programs, children and youth mental health programs and wraparound care, and crisis respite services.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $89,500 to DAIS! DAIS, helping Dane County since 1977, strives to empower those affected by domestic violence by advocating for social change through support, education, and outreach. To make this happen, we offer a wide array of crisis intervention and community education/prevention programs, including a 24-hour Help Line, programming for children from violent homes, legal advocacy, support groups, and emergency safety planning. DAIS is also the only domestic violence shelter in all of Dane County.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $82,000 to the Goodman Community Center! The center serves people ages 3 to 103 through programs for children and youth, older adult activities and meals, a food pantry, a fitness center, a community newspaper, event spaces and more.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $88,000 to the BLW Center! Since 2004, BLW Center’s mission has been to support the Southeast Madison community in addressing the needs identified by its residents. Our programs include a food pantry, youth programming, Family Resource Center, senior program, wellness services, community events, and much more for all ages.

They work with families, not only to relieve the immediate crisis of homelessness, but also to build skills, resources and relationships that set the stage for long-term success

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $89,748 to Camp Kesem! This organization believes all children facing a parent's cancer deserve the chance to fully experience the joys of childhood and be their best selves. They provide free summer camps, day programs, and virtual meet-ups for youth and adolescents facing a parent’s cancer to connect with peers, process their experiences, and have fun.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $81,000 to the One City Schools! Their mission is to seed a new model of public education that ensures children and teens are on track to succeed in a college or career preparatory program from birth through high school graduation.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $61,000 to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County! They are dedicated to empowering children to achieve their full potential by fostering strong, enduring one-on-one mentoring relationships across Madison and Dane County.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $54,000 to the Food for Thought Initiative! This organization's mission begins with cooking delicious meals and sharing not just food, but hope, with those without shelter. Beyond providing meals, Support Teams work to restore belief in their abilities and remove barriers to jobs and housing, helping to reignite their sense of purpose.

The 100 Men of Dane County granted $38,000 to the First Tee! First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, they create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do.
